My Paranormal Romance

Just last week a friend of mine from Church asked me if I want to watch an Indie film on a weekend. I asked him what movie, he said “My Paranormal Romance”. I asked him if it is a horror or scary movie, he just told me to watch the trailer.

After I watched the trailer, I told him that I want to watch the movie because it is funny and I am a big supporter of Indie films. The movie was shown at Cafa Bldg in University of San Carlos, Talamban Cebu (USC-TC). The screen date was last Oct. 6, 2012 at around 8:30pm. Since the date is on a Saturday, I have to ask permission to my friends on our Bible Study or what we call our Small Group that I cannot attend our bible study. But to my amazed by friends from bible study cancelled our bible study that day so we can chill and watch the movie. So we went to USC-TC and watched “My Paranormal Romance”.

The movie is all about a girl who wants to pursue her dreams and forget all her hurtful pasts. But the journey to success is not that easy as what they say, you will encounter obstacle and one of her obstacle is when she meet her landlady and when her landlady die she passed her third eye to her and from here the story begins.

It is a feel good movie. Upon watching the movie I burst into laughter. It was my first time to watch an indie movie that is created and produced here in Cebu City. The movie even promote Cebu City, they even co-stars some of the famous stars of Cebu.

This will be shown on SM Cinema Cebu on November 28, 2012.
